I shared this video with the musicians in my church at the beginning of this year. I am now sharing it here on my blog for the benefit of the new musicians that have been added to our team since then. I believe some of you musicians from other churches would find this video helpful as well.
Paul Baloche gives some very practical tips on how to play better as a worship band. Tips given are helpful no matter what standard your team is at, you can immediately apply it to your worship team this weekend.
Perhaps some of you have some great ideas on how to further improve our worship ministries, please do share with me (articles, videos, websites, whatever medium is welcomed). I am eager, desperate even, to grow and to help the worship ministry in Canaan to get to the next level. Maybe some of you are facing some problems in your worship team and would like to get some help, feel free to comment. Perhaps the readers or I could give a pointer or two. We all should desire growth, I hope this video helps you in that quest.

Can't hear what's in the video on the library's computer because there aren't any speakers (my laptop died).
Anyway, I've been reading "The Unquenchable Worshiper" by Matt Redman. I STRONGLY recommend it to everyone, especially new people who just started being in the worship team. Basically, to summarize the book, skills to play together is important, but always remember, die to self and more of Jesus Christ.
I found this post....amazing. Thanks for sharing Lemuel -- It all makes sense. =)
Yo Jordan and Phinny,
Nice to see people reading (and actually benefitting from my blog). I hope this blog continues to help all of us grow (in every sense of the word).
Come back for more. You motivate me to continue to update this blog and make it more meaningful.
